Introducing our newest NAF Featured Author…

Hey. It’s me again. Remember me? Yeah, I know. It’s been a busy summer. But just because you haven’t seen me much here, doesn’t mean I haven’t been around behind the scenes. After all, this blog is for unpublished authors, right? And I’m not unpublished anymore. So the spotlight needs to go on the ones who deserve it. While I’m on the subject, don’t forget that us Alumni keep our own blogs offsite too. So go up to the Members tab up there in the menu, and check out the pages for all our Alumni. There you’ll find all the links you need to keep in touch with NAF members who have graduated.

Which brings me around to why you’re sitting here reading me ramble. Last week we celebrated Kat Heckenbach’s move from Featured Author to Alumni. She’s now in the “Granny Flat” with us…finally, someone to clean. 😉 You’ll want to check out her profile page HERE and read about the changes. And you’ll especially want to check out this AMAZON LINK where you can buy her shiny new book.

We’ve moved people around, changed things, ect, but this is only the third time we’ve graduated one of our Featured Authors. Of course that means there’s a vacancy on our marquee. Our new Featured Author is a person who’s been around these parts all summer. Graduating a Featured Author to Alumni is not something that takes us by surprise. We began months ago looking for someone to take the vacancy. He’s been with us behind the scenes now for over a month. You’ve read a guest blog by him, and you’ve seen him actively commenting on our posts. He’s interviewed me, Diane, and NAF friend Grace Bridges on his podcast. Figured it out yet?

Our new Featured Author is Timothy C. Ward. He is from Iowa and has a MDiv in Theology from Faith Baptist College. He’s one of the leaders over at Holyworlds.org and runs the Holyworlds podcast. His novel is a sci-fi, with fantasy leanings…which is good, cause we need a little more sci-fi around here. You’ll find Tim here now, blogging about his journey as an unpublished author. He’ll be blogging on Tuesdays, but give him a break if he misses one or two until he gets into this new routine.

Read all about him and his book on his Profile page, and please give him a huge NAF welcome.
