Moving Day!

I apologize in advance as this post is going to be short and sweet.

The movers are coming to pack up our house today. I’m in the midst of organizing and cleaning. It’s been a hectic couple of weeks, and now that it’s down to the wire, I’m kicking myself for procrastinating. I mean, I’ve know we were going to be moving at “some point” for about a 9 months now. Classic procrastination. tsk tsk…

We will be in a hotel for the next week as we finish up all the paperwork and wait to get our van shipped out. Then it’s off to Kentucky and our new life outside of the military.

Scary stuff.

Still, a small inkling of excitement has worked in its way into my worry. I like the idea of starting over as much as I dread it. I’m thrilled that we’ll be MUCH closer to our families. I have some friends in the area–a few writers too–to make transitioning a little smoother.

Anyway, I’m off. I’ll have sporatic internet until Thursday, July 26. The internet at the hotel wasn’t that reliable last time we stayed there. But I’ll be on when I can–and if I can’t, well, see ya on the flip side!

About Ralene Burke

Born this side of a miracle, Ralene Burke grew up with a love for the supernatural side of God. Her passion spills over into her writing as she spins fast-paced tales of angels, demons, and the broader calling of every human being. A place where the light pierces the darkness... Outside of the fiction world, she is a homeschooling mother of three, living wherever the military sends her husband. She enjoys crazy nights with friends and board games, snuggling with her family, or, more often than not, the company a good book.
